Summary of the film

Jay flies to L.A. to visit his old Canadian actor friend, Seth Rogen.

The night takes them to James Franco's house-warming party, even though Jay was reluctant to go.

Here, celebrities drink, swear, take drugs and have sex.

 

 

 

 

 

 

When Seth and Jay head to a nearby gas station to grab smokes and snacks, they feel what they think is an earthquake and blue beams teleport some people up from the Earth.

A large crack opens in the Earth in front of James' house, where celebrities fall to their deaths.

Jay finds himself stuck in James' house with five other actors: Seth, Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson, Danny McBride, and James.

 

 

 

 

The group realizes that the apocalypse has hit and are facing a moral test as the Last Judgement is upon them (Brody, 2013).

While in the house; the men take a large variety of drugs, create a homemade movie, surrender all their water to Emma Watson, kick Danny out after he finishes off their rations, run from demonic creatures, and catch the house on fire after attempting an exorcism on Jonah who has become possessed.

 

 

 

 

The group runs to James' car for escape, and Craig sacrifices himself for their escape by distracting a demonic creature, where he is then raptured and brought to Heaven by a blue light.

The car is crashed by a group of cannibals which are led by Danny, and James tries to sacrifice himself for the group.

As he is being raptured, he swears and calls out Danny, where he is then dropped by the blue light and left for the cannibals.

 

 

 

 

 

Seth and Jay are approached by a colossal sized Satan, where the two apologize to each other over their difficulities and are raptured.

 

They meet Craig in Heaven to discover an amazing place where everything you wish comes true.

Backstreet Boys play out the movie.
